So I have been watching How I Met your Mother which is AWESOME!!!!! SO there are a lot of things about this show that kinda remind me of my own life. Yeah maybe I am not exactly where I want to be just now, and maybe I don't always want to do the stereotypical thing, but that's ok, because life is about being where you are and living the best way you can. ^_^ And maybe things don't always work out exactly when you want them to, but eventually they do work out, and you have some great stories to tell along the way.

Hello LJ Friends! I am in Italy, studying singing and for the most part having an interesting time. I am SLOWLY starting to get a hang of the language, hopefully I will be at least decent by the time I get home ^_^;; The music training is going great so for that reason I am very happy that I am here. I am making some really good contacts and the teachers love me, so yay me ^_^ Anyways, I hope everything is going well back home! I miss everyone and can't wait to see you again and tell you all about my adventures. Hopefully my next post will be alot more exciting and detailed. Ciao!!!

So Diana is on her way to Italy today. Yesterday I arrived in Chicago since it's cheaper to take flights out from here then from Detroit. Today I get to chill around the city then fly off to Italy. Crazy times ^_^;;; Hopefully things will go well and this will prove to be an awesome experience for me. I dont know how reliable my internet will be over there so most of my communication will probably be through LJ posts and Email so stay tuned for further adventures! ^_^ I will miss you all tons and see you in a month!

I have moved into my new house! Please come and see it ^_^ I am inviting everyone to come hangout/see the new place Monday (tomorrow) at 7:00. Hope to see people there ^_^

So I gave in and got a copy of the new BBC productions of Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion. I just finished watching the Sense and Sensibility and I am happy to say I was very well pleased ^_^. Admittedly I might still prefer the Emma Thompson version, still torn on the issue, among other things because Alan Rickman is amazing, but it was a very good production. If you don't know the book some of the plot points get a bit rushed into would be my one major complaint and to compensate they change some things slightly, but since i already know the story this wasn't a problem for me. My only other complaint is that I don't think that Willouby was good looking... he kinda looked like a ferret... actually he kinda looks like an English version of Warren from Buffy (Janette will get that reference) On the happy side: I though the 3 Dashwood girls were very charming and well acted, Brandon was AWESOME as he is supposed to be ^_^ I actually think I might like him as much as I like Rickmans version which is really saying something... and my favorite improvement... EDWARD!!! I Actually really like how they portrayed Edward. I always liked him in the book even if he is a bit boring and such but in the movie versions I always feel like Elanor is kinda... I don't know... marrying beneath her ^_^;;; (I know Ironic) But this portrayal you really got a new take on the character that was very true to who Edward is but at the same time was much more endearing and you really saw the mutual connection between him and Elanor. Doesn't hurt that the actor is also really good and really cute ^_^ But it was nice to see the Romance between the two of them really played out well. Same with the Marianne Brandon romance, I like the way they built up the connection and you could see the compatibility of the couple not just her sorta settling for him which is how it seems in some of the other film versions even though its totally not true, she falls for him too! Its not settling! Brandon is WAY too awesome to settle for. Anyways I just had to brag about the greatness of Jane Austen movies. Tomorrow will be Persuasion! I am really hopeful, I have YET to see a good production of that one but after being so pleased with SandS I am very excited! Yay BBC! Please continue to produce amazing Jane Austen mini-series!

So the newest "Percy Jackson and the Olypians" book came out today. As usual it was AMAZING!!!!!! PERCY IS SUCH A PIMP!!!!! If you like these books GO READ THE NEW ONE ^_^ (Also... I TOTALLY CALLED IT!!! I SO SO SO CALLED IT! I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT! ok done now)

Off to read my other 2 new books by a couple of my other favorite authors ^_^

Also: Rick Riordan is coming to Borders for a book signing next Tues. I am thinking of finishing up a giant Percy Jackson fanart poster and seeing if I can get him to sign in ^_^ That would be amazing!

So I have been re watching Angel, since some of my friends started watching it and it made me think "hey I haven't watched that in ages". I really is a highly entertaining show. I like Angel so much more when he is on his own show. And Doyle is still one of my favorite characters ever. I want a Phantom Dennis. A ghost roommate would be awesome cause then I would have the whole cool not needing to feel alone thing but I wouldn't have to worry about taking care of someone either ^_^. And I wouldn't have to worry about my roommate eating my food either ^_^ Also: Angel in a Hawaiian shirt? Still hilarious.
Wolfram and Hart is highly entertaining I have to say. Its so fun to see the "Evil Lawyers" at work ^_^ Plus it doesn't hurt that Lindsey is really cute.

So I have been watching the Star Wars marathon on Spike TV, which sadly means I am watching episodes I II and III (So the bad ones) Right now I am reaching the end of II (Which is probably arguably the worst in the bunch) and here are some thoughts:

OK so we all know that the dialogs and acting is just beyond terrible, so lets not even bother too much on that one. Thought: Obi-wan... you know maybe if you weren't constantly having so much Alpha Male tension with your student he would have learned to listen and chill out instead of being such a discontented whiny brat, you win more flies with honey then vinegar you know. Next though:OK miss Padme... I just don't buy it when you tell Anikin that you have no desire to be with him when you are doing it while waltzing around in a black leather bustier outfit or in lacy silk nightgowns. If you know a guy is attracted to you and you don't want him to go after you YOU DON'T DRESS LIKE A SEX KITTEN!!!! Good grief girl how lame are you! Thought: Jar Jar binx... still annoying and stupid. Thought: Boba Fett- still awesome, anikin isn't the only under aged brat who cal pilot a spaceship ^_^ Thought: OK they have the ability to give people robotic limbs and yet they can't get Palpatine some Botox? What is wrong with this society???? Thought: How many times does the line: "I will never join you" appear in the Star Wars movies? It could be its own drinking game >_< (Not that I ever play drinking games but you get the idea) Thought: How is it that they don't catch on that Dooku is a sith? I mean isn't the red lightsaber a BIT of a giveaway??? Thought: OK Padme when sneaking into a building to find a prisoner... WHITE IS NOT THE BEST COLOR CHOICE! Its a bit on the conspicuous side. Thought: poor R-2 D-2, you are surrounded by idiots, how do you put up with them?

Unrelated commercial thoughts: 1. OK the Burger King king commercials were creepy enough BEFORE they turned him into a robot 2. In regards to the Rainbow 6 video game: if terrorists were gonna occupy a US city, why Vegas? It has no strategical value... I just don't get it >_<

Back to the movie: Thought:how are lightsaber colors determined? is it symbolic in some way or is it a matter of personal preference and evil people just happen to like red? Cause if Mace Windu gets purple I would so want a pink one. Or would that make me evil light or something? Thought: Dooku... have you learned nothing??? When you are creaming the enemy in battle that is NOT THE TIME TO STOP THE BATTLE AND GLOAT that is the time to finish off the rest of the jedi who are conveniently trapped in an arena surrounded by killer droids. Thought: never take on Yoda. He will always beat you. Thought: No wonder Palpatine has a Napoleon complex about taking over the Universe: all of his apprentices are at least a good head taller then him! Thought: Padme I know your wedding didn't exactly have alot of attendants, more like none... but still couldn't you have taken the time to pick out a prettier dress? Or at least a better veil... that thing is just hideous...
And that concludes my Starwars Episode II rant.

Princess Peach breaks up a fight between Fox and Sheik by serving them tea... I think that is the greatest thing I have ever seen in a video game It almost makes me want to cosplay Peach again. ^_~

I continue my mission to finish the Subspace Emissary. (Which would be easier if I ever had more time or more skill) Am over 50% so yay me. ^_^

Finally played Rockband last night. Was very fun, even though I totally was sight reading some of the songs. I still got high scores on high though ^_^;;; (Sang on Expert when I knew the songs. Glad to see I am good at something)yay me! Tee hee hee. Next time I will try the guitar as well. Now I just need to learn to play Call of Duty and I will officially be part of the happy land of Geeky gamers, which is a very fun place to be. ^_^

For some reason I was totally not tired last night, as proven by the fact that I was up till almost 5, and now here I am at 10 am and I am completely awake (and writing on this LJ apparently)

Random rant: I hate commercials. Not because I am completely hating the concept, although they are pretty lame in general, but commercials nowadays have just become so completely lame!!! There are some commercials that are so irritating that I will NEVER EVER buy the product because I hate the commercials so much. Example: The Geiko Gecko. I hate that thing. If I ever considered getting Geiko, I would see that irritating little creature in my head and go NO WAY! Another one, I despise the Alltel commercials. Less then amused >_< I want to bash in the heads of all the annoying little characters... including the guy who is supposed to be the "Good one" Uck!

I keep having really bizarre dreams too, what is up with that?
